Magisto, a cloud-based iOS app that uses Artificial Intelligence to automatically mix your iPhone photos and videos into movies, has unveiled a new trick: Surprise Me. Apple hires industrial designer Marc Newson to work with Jony Ive on new products

Vanity Fair reports that Apple has hired industrial designer Marc Newson. Newson will join his friend and Senior Vice President of Design, Jony Ive on the company’s design team creating future Apple products. This hire is huge as it would give Ive someone of his caliber of talent to work with. Steve Jobs was famously hands-on with most aspects of  the design of Apple products. This involved spending a lot of time with Ive as the two collaborated on the company’s hardware. Meanwhile, Tim Cook took care of the day-to-day business. iWatch reportedly being tested by Kobe Bryant, Dustin Brown

How do you measure the threshold of a fitness wearable? You get some of the fittest people on earth to test it! Apple is reportedly teaming up with various athletes from the NHL, MLB, and NBA to test their incoming wearable. Apple Adds A New Entry-Level iMac For $1,099

Apple has a new iMac model today, an entry-level machine that brings the price of entry to the all-in-one desktop to $1,099, or $200 less than was the case just yesterday. The new version has a 1.4 GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB of memory, a 500GB hard drive and Intel HD Graphics 5000 on board. Configuration options allow you to scale the drive up to either a 1TB HDD or Fusion drive, or install 256GB of SSD flash storage, but that’s about it.
